MGL Hostel and Suite berawal dari rencana Mario Gael Lopez untuk membuka hostel di Puerto Vallarta, Meksiko. Dea Wicaksana bergabung sebagai concept designer untuk menerjemahkan rencana tersebut menjadi arah visual yang utuh, mulai dari identitas brand hingga suasana setiap ruang.
Hostel ini terbuka untuk tamu pria maupun wanita. Konsepnya menghadirkan kenyamanan hotel butik, namun tetap membawa kehangatan dan suasana terbuka khas hostel.
The Phoenix: A Special Gift
The MGL logo was created by Dea Wicaksana as a special gift for Mario, a man who never gives up and who stays loyal to the people and dreams he holds.
The phoenix rising with open wings stands for passing through every trial and rising again: there is no light without first meeting the dark. It is a tribute to perseverance and faithfulness, and for a place where travellers arrive, rest and continue their journey, it also speaks of transformation and growth.
Palet Warna
- Maroon (utama) dan Burgundy (pendamping) untuk kesan dalam, hangat, dan penuh gairah
- Gold (aksen) untuk kesan mewah dan bercahaya
- Ivory, Cream Marble, dan Dark Stone sebagai warna netral penyeimbang
Brand Application
The logo comes in three versions: a vertical main logo, a horizontal secondary logo, and a circular stamp for social media. A phoenix-feather pattern carries the identity across every surface, from signage and the reception backdrop to key cards, the arched entrance with tropical planting, the bougainvillea-framed pool deck at sunset, and in-room amenities in maroon and gold.
