The Process

The Process Behind Every Design

My drawings begin with a request.

Someone shares an idea, a preference, a vision, or something they wish to see in their own space. My role is to listen, understand, and translate those details into a visual concept.

Sometimes, the request is about appearance. Sometimes, it is about something rare, something meaningful, or something that holds personal memories and history.

I begin sketching from that perspective.

I don’t believe there is only one definition of luxury. It exists at different levels, expressed through different materials, craftsmanship, exclusivity, experiences, and personal values.

In design, there is a role that must be understood: commercial and bespoke projects are not the same. Commercial projects follow company standards, from brand identity, material specifications, and budget to regulations, so the result is consistent and easily recognized by many. Bespoke projects begin with the owner: their story, habits, memories, and what truly matters to them. Both are valid. They are simply measured differently.

That is why I don’t want to define a design solely by whether it looks luxurious to me. Before making that judgment, I want to understand the original intention behind it.

A concept drawing is an exploration of an idea, not necessarily a final statement about what luxury should look like.

For me, the process is about understanding the request, exploring the possibilities, and giving an idea a visual form.

Because ultimately, I don’t draw simply to impose my own taste. I draw to explore what an idea can become.
